Sit & Fit isn’t a marketing term — it’s the way Carl’s has worked since 1958. You sit, we measure, and we don’t stop until the fit is right.

Good to Know
Sit & Fit Questions
Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are strongly recommended — especially on weekends. Booking ahead means a fitter is reserved for you, with no wait and no rush.
Most fittings take 30–45 minutes. We never put a timer on it — the appointment is yours until the fit is right. Prescription and diabetic fittings may run a little longer.
Wear or bring the socks you normally wear with the shoes you’re shopping for. If you use orthotics or inserts, bring those too. For Rx and diabetic fittings, bring your prescription, insurance card, and ID.
Absolutely. We fit children of every age and can schedule sibling appointments so everyone is measured in one visit. It’s a great idea before the back-to-school rush.
Yes. The store is accessible with nearby parking. If you have specific mobility needs, let us know when you request your fitting and we’ll make sure everything’s ready for you.
